Marc Miethe: didgeridoo
One of the true innovators of contemporary Didgeridoo Style!
The media lauds his extraordinary percussive and powerful style. His experience as a bass-player took influence on his unique artistic dimensions on the tunable trombone Didge. Miethe is always expanding the borders of the Didgeridoo. He has been playing E-Bass since 1986 and came to the Didge in 1992. In 1994 he teams up for the Berlin Didgeridoo trio Circular Breathing and records two CDs with them.

Armin Metz:
electric bass | |
| was born 1974 in Regensburg, Germany. From his early childhood he was attracted by music, listening to 70´s radio program and playing to Funk Soul and Pop on selfmade instruments. After autodidactic experiences he achieved lessons in classical piano from the age of nine. Inspired by electronical/film music he was fascinated with synthesizers in the mid 80´s. Metz picked up the bass with 15, what followed a passion for earthy grooves and unique techniques. His explorations as a bass player and composer led him through the wide field of worldmusic, especially to classical indian music. | |

Metz moved to Berlin where he studied bass and popular music at the University of Music HfM. He played bass in various worldmusic/pop projects (since 2005 he´s a member of the Talvin Singh Trio) and produced several tracks ranging from D´n´B and electronica (collaborations include Talvin Singh, releases under his pseudonym Gemin) to house and trance (e.g. with Chiva Chandra´s mastermind Daniel Vernunft). Studio projects such as Siggi Stern´s album "Siam Bruder" feature Metz as producer/multi-instrumentalist. Together with german didgeridoo player Marc Miethe he 1997 formed the didge`n`bass-duo Boobinga, in 1999 he co-founded the worldfusion band Ahimsa (India/Germany) which recorded two albums and toured through Europe several times. Sometimes he can be heard performing solo bass concerts.
